Cordially invite you to attend a celebration of Urban’s six-year oral history program. The event will feature student presentations of all 2007 interviews, and will honor the elders who have participated in the Telling Their Stories tradition. We will conclude by paying tribute to the memories of the World War II liberators and witnesses who have recently passed away.
Our invited guests include:
- interviewees from the past six years: Holocaust Survivors, Concentration Camp Liberators/Witnesses, Japanese American Relocation Camp Internees, and Residents of the Historic Fillmore District Displaced By Re-Development
- student interviewers from the past six years
- parent volunteers
- community organizations
- local media
