  • The Elements of Euclid by Oliver Byrne. The Digital Math Archive provides full-text image access to this important primary source of mathematics. The Byrne edition of Euclid includes pictures and color.
  • MacTutor History of Mathematics: Created by the School of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, the MacTutor provides access to biographics of famous mathematicians, articles on the history of math, famous curves, math birthdays of the day, and searchable archives.
  • Mathwords: Terms and Formulas from Algebra I to Calculus: an interactive math dictionary.
  • Mathworld: the web's most extensive mathematics resource from Wolfram.
  • Women in Mathematics: biographies with images and chronologies. Site includes extensive links to other resources on women mathematicians and scientists.
  • High School Student Center: mathematical problems of the week, expert help, games, puzzles, references and more available through this Math Forum from Drexel University.
  • PlanetMath.org requires user registration (use of a name and password) for this site, a virtual math community: "Math for the people, by the people."

  • Earth Matrix Science and math in Ancient Artwork & Science today. Includes information, explanations and graphics about Aztec calendar, ancient numerology, Pi, geometry of pyramids and more.
